Welcome to our Southern Europe retreat!

David, your guide, will be arriving on the early morning (0620) flight (FR8162) from Stansted, so that is the best flight to get if you are London or South East based.

We drive the 50 minute journey East to Velez-Malaga, where we stop at the Eroski Hypermarket to get our provisions for the stay.

Settle into your own room at the 2 bedded apartment, and we relax on our rooftop sunbathing area with a chilled drink.

We have a short drive today.  20 minutes drive takes us to the beautiful sand and shingle beach at Almayate Playa.  There is a vast beach, with a large dedicated naturist section for sun worshippers, and it has a private beachside restaurant attached.

This is a relaxing day, after a hectic day of travelling yesterday.

Both locations are two hours drive from our apartment.  If you choose Gibraltar, we tour the town, walk over the infamous Gibraltar Runway that traffic drives across, and go up on the famous Cable Car to the top of the rock, where we will be booked for afternoon tea.

If you choose the Alhambra, you will have a fascinating day at this world famous site, although the 40 Euro entrance fee is not included in the tour cost.

Today, we venture into the mountains for some walking and sightseeing amongst the 'white villages' of the Andalusian Hills.  We visit Corumbela and Sayalonga, stopping for some refreshing Beer, wine or soft drinks (and maybe some tapas) along the way.

We have to be out the apartment mid-morning, so we head off in the car for our last bit of sightseeing, or more time on the beach, before our flight back.  Transport to airport included, and recommended flight back to Stansted is the FR8165, getting into Stansted around 2055.
